We are excited to invite you to CHHA Vancouver’s 15th Annual Walk2Hear! Everyone with a hearing loss, family, friends, health care professionals / educators / students, and members of the local community are invited.

Registration is at 1:00 pm, and the Walk (or Run) begins at 1:30 pm.

All abilities of walkers and runners are welcome. The walk/run takes place on a wide dirt path at Jericho Beach Park. Walkers will do 1 lap of the route (2.2km), and runners will do 2 laps (4.5km).

Walk2Hear is a wonderful opportunity to meet others in the hearing loss community, and to support accessibility, local connections, education, and advocacy.

Getting There:
Note: The City of Vancouver tell us there will be some filming taking place in the South part of Jericho Park on the same days as Walk2Hear. As a result the Jericho East Parking lot may be busier than usual, so we recommend carpooling if you can, coming by bus or bike, or arriving a bit early this year.
Driving – Parking available at the Jericho East EasyPark paid lot, access off 4th Ave. or Point Grey Road. Some street parking in the area – check the street signage.
CyclingBike rack near the concession/washrooms building.
Transit – Type “Jericho East EasyPark” into Translink’s Trip Planner to find the best route from your location. The closest bus stop is a 5 minute walk away, at 4th Ave. and Wallace St. on the number 4 route. There are various other stops within a 10 minute walk.

We look forward to seeing you there!
